The Michigan Crossroads Council is seeking a District Executive to support our Ottawa units and volunteers. This is a great opportunity for a Scouting alumni and college graduate. See attached for more information.
All advancement reported to the Committee through the 5/22 troop meeting will be recognized in the June 5th Court of Honor. However, since the cut-off date was not posted to the calendar as usual, the Committee will accept any completely filled out advancement forms and Blue Cards through Friday 5/25 by contacting Anne Felosak
Completed advancement means:
Rank Advancement Form has completed all steps and has ALL signatures (Scout, Scoutmaster, Board of Review, Patrol Leader, and Senior Patrol Leader)
Merit Badge Blue Cards have final counselor and Scoutmaster signatures
Training, OA Membership, and other award certificates
The troop is planning to build an extra patrol box or two in time for summer camp. In an effort to be environmentally friendly and re-use and recycle, the troop will first accept donations of larger stock pots and fry pans (10-12 inch) that you may not want or use in your own home. Please note all items must be in good condition-- no rust, excessive scratches, etc. The troop will also accept large spatulas, stirring spoons, cutting knives, etc., again, in good condition. You can drop any patrol box donation off at one of the last two troop meetings. Thank you.
