Troop 777 Alumni Aaron Gierlach and his dad Ray (who was an Asst. Scoutmaster) live in Colorado Springs, CO now. Recently, they were in town and stopped by Mr. Tischler's house to donate some gear and give us a quick update on the impact 777 had and what they have been up to since.
Ken Jacobsen was a long-time Scouter in Northville. He passed his love for Scouting on to his Eagle Scout son, whom has also stayed engaged in Scouting.
Ken was a member of the FUMC Men's Club and was our Chartered Organized Representative until 2014.
Proir to that, Ken was very involved with Troop 755 and was responsible for the purchase of the 755 canoes that 777 uses frequently.
Ken passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019
Visitation:
Thursday, April 11 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Casterline Funeral Home in Northville

Parents, we are encouraging everyone who is attending camp outs or summer camp to take this course. While it is required for all assistant scoutmaster’s it would be good for committee members to understand the patrol method as well.
Eric Brown will be teaching the scoutmaster specific training course on March 23 at FUMC from noon to 430.
Please register on our website as soon as possible as space is limited and we may be opening this up to other area units next week. https://www.troop777northville.org/node/3463
We will be building a fire pit and benches for the church. All building materials will be at the site; we will need to create a base, assemble the fire pit, and construct the benches. Due to the nature of the activity, you should wear suitable clothes (not Class A) and bring work gloves.
Helpful tools to bring are shovels, cordless electric screwdrivers, paintbrushes, and cordless orbital sanders. The church will be open for restrooms/sinks/water fountains. I will also provide bottled water. If you plan on staying during lunch time BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH (which can be stored inside).
