High Adventures are one of the most memorable and rewarding part of the Scout's program year. 4 years ago, 777 customized a trip to Alaska that was documented in the Boy's Life article - "No Fear." The trip was the result of needing a "Plan B" when the Troop was unable to land a Sea Base adventure in 2016. The troop sea kayaked, climbed glaciers, hiked mountains, caught and ate fish at a remote mountain-top lake, rode a sled pulled by actual Iditarod Sled Dogs, and shared it all in a presentation to Cub Scout Pack 712.
This and other high adventure memories can be found in our SmugMug page
Good memories can come from let-downs like no Jamboree in 2021. Hopefully, these images can help inspire you for designing Troop 777's next high adventure memory.
