The First Installment will be due for Philmont no later than 9/25. $435 will be due. We are currently working on the training plan for fall of 2018 and also spring of 2019 in order to be ready for this High Adventure Trip. We plan on sharing this very soon. For those attending, a certain participation rate will be expected with a few weekend back pack trips that will require mandatory attendance.
We have 24 participants signed up. Thank you. Please issue your $200 deposit. We will leave registration open for waitlist. With this many going having a waitlist makes sense. if you are on the waitlist no money is due (25+ participants). The cancellation policy with Philmont is very limited in nature.
Sign up for Philmont. We need $200 per person no later than 1/24/23 to secure your entry into the Disneyland of Scouting. You will not be disappointed with the views, the challenge, the activities, the adventure and overall growth you will experience. See you on the trail.
Who - Scouts will need to be 14 years of age and/or completed 8th grade and 13 years of age at the start of the trek. Leads are Rob Roux and Ryan Bright.
Cost - $2,800 with $200 deposit due ASAP. Please issue a check to the front desk for $200 to secure your spot.
What - Adventure awaits. There will be 5 shakedowns in the fall of 2023 and spring of 2024 and PT workouts in May & June of 2024 to get ready for this adventure.
Crew Size - Each Crew will be 8 Scouts / 4 Adults. The Crews will not be on the same trek but will be traveling together and spending time in base camp together. It is possible they may see each other on the trail. We will be registering as Crew 777 to allow flexibility with age (over 18) and male/female makeup of the Crew.
When - July 5, 2024 to July 19, 2024. Travel days will be July 5th and July 19th. We will be flying to Denver likely and planning our own pre trip or utilizing Blue Sky Adventures to visit the Air Force Academy, Garden of the Gods and possibly a water park.
